    Help with the cost

    Scouting America is our national scouting organization, and membership is required to join the pack. Register directly on Scouting America’s website by completing a youth application. Double-check that our unit is selected as Pack 0615 Melrose Highlands Congregational Church (our chartering organization).

    Optional add-on: You can add a subscription to Scout Life magazine for $15/year during registration if you’d like.

    After registering here, you will receive an invitation to join Scoutbook, the centralized portal that keeps a record of your child’s badges, awards, and progress.

  2. Pay Pack 615’s activity fee

    $145/yr

    This fee supports Pack 615 and covers badges, a wooden car kit for the Pinewood Derby race, campsite fees and meeting materials.

    The optional Big Trip is booked separately.

  3. Hand in the health forms

    Your child needs a paper health record before taking part in activities.

    • Forms A, B1, and B2, signed by hand

    Slip your completed forms into an envelope and drop them off with your child’s den leader. Alongside your Scout, please complete health forms for anyone, including adults and siblings, attending weekend or overnight activities.

Returning Scouts: renew and payWelcome back!

    $305/yr

    Help with the cost

    Covers the $160 Scouting America membership and the $145 pack activity fee. We will renew your child’s membership for you, so you can ignore the renewal reminders Scouting America sends. You can optionally add a year of Scout Life magazine for $15 at Square checkout.

    Pay $305/yr

    Already renewed with Scouting America yourself? Then you only owe the activity fee. Pay $145 instead. You’ll see this labeled as “New Scout” in the Square store, which is the correct option to select for paying pack activity fees only.

Help with the cost

Financial aid and sliding scale dues options are available directly at checkout in our store, or reach out privately. We make sure every kid can participate regardless of ability to pay.

Pack activity fee. Select $25, $50, or $75 off directly at Square checkout. You choose it yourself at the moment you pay, with no application and no explanation needed.

Scouting America fee. Because Scouting America’s national registration portal does not offer an automated sliding scale at checkout, please send us a quick email before paying the $160 national fee and we will handle it with you directly.

Additional support. If you need assistance beyond $75, or need help covering uniforms, camping gear, or trip tickets, please reach out anytime. We are always here to help.

Who
Currently capped at any Scout and 1 adult per family. We hope to open more tickets based on capacity at a later date!

This year’s theme is Stars & Space, with the planetarium, a trip to Mars and a rocket launch. There’s also telescope viewing if the sky is clear. Your ticket includes an evening snack, continental breakfast and free admission for another day!
